The objective of the aquaculture facility is to be a high volume, profitable producer of quality barramundi, Milkfish and Molobicus (salt-water Tilapia) for the premium end of the domestic market and for export to South East Asian markets. Plentex will also establish its high-value seaweeds business based on Asparagopsis for agriculture climate change mitigation and Halymenia for industrial extract manufacture.
